About this recipe
Valentine's Day is a time for love, sweet surprises and creativity in the kitchen. Today I'm sharing a recipe for simple and tasty heart-shaped Valentine's biscuits that you can make for your better half – or even better: organise a zero-budget date at home where you make these biscuits together! That way this year's day of lovers will stay in your memory forever.

We'll need flour, cornflour, baking powder, plant-based butter, sugar, plant-based drink and a few drops of strawberry extract or flavour drops, which will provide a wonderful scent and flavour. And as the cherry on top, we'll also use beetroot powder, which will give our biscuits a very special colour and a hint of Valentine's romance.
Besides the basic ingredients, we'll also need a baking tray, baking paper and a few basic kitchen tools such as a hand mixer or food processor, a rolling pin and biscuit cutters for shaping. Once we've made the dough, we'll shape it into hearts and decorate them with melted chocolate, chopped pistachios and freeze-dried strawberries. Biscuits like these will surely delight all lovers of sweet treats.
Valentine's Day biscuits are a great choice for a gift or as an accompaniment to a romantic evening for two. They are simple to make, yet bring a lot of joy and love. With them we can express our creativity and tenderness and create unforgettable moments that we will carry in our hearts for a long time. So let's take our time and surrender to the magic of Valentine's Day with these delicious and lovely biscuits!
